I'm on a diet but there are 2 easter eggs in the cupboard I bought for family. The chocolate orange one is calling to me softly.....I want it so badly, I'm on my own in the house so there's nobody to stop me.

You sound exactly like me,i by tonnes of eggs cos i have to replace all the ones that have tempted me! I can hear them in woolworths beckoning me to buy them!

The real question here is "How serious am I about my diet?"
Depending on your particular diet, you could treat yourself to a small piece of that egg, so long as it figured in with the rest of the daily calories you're allowing yourself.
This also means that you will be giving up something else.
Or you could just try to ignore the egg completely but this takes inner strength.
Either way, I suggest that you don't buy anymore tempting foods that you know you can't avoid, even if they are "for your family".
I'm sure they'll understand...;-)
Good Luck!

And that's why when I'm on a diet, everybody in the house is on a diet. And now you have me craving chocolate oranges. Thanks so much.

Was going to say do it, but you already have. I'd love a bit thanks, but I bet you've eaten the whole thing!! I might go and get some chocolate too.

If you have it in the house, you are going to eat it! Don't buy them until the day you need them, that's my motto.
