Do losing contestants on Jeopardy get to keep money won up to that point?

I answered this question previously. Only the highest scorer gets to keep the money; the second- and third-place players get merchandise averaging about $2,500 and $1,000, respectively.

no but they do get a prized based on what place they came in.
