The US Postal Service wil hold all of your mail for up to 30 days. They can sometimes hold it a few days longer. You can specify a date that you want them to deliver it, or when you will pick it up at your regular post office. Fill out a yellow card or go to USPS.com

The only way that you might be able to get the mail delivered to a post office that you will be near (I'm not definite about this, and it could be very iffy) is to contact that post office in advance, and ask if they would accept a parcel for you marked as General Delivery.

For example it would be addressed:
Joseph Jones
General Delivery
Snowshoe, PA 12345

I would think that the smaller the post office the more likely you would be able to do it. Again, I don't think it's worth the possibility of error. Smaller offices sometimes have limited hours so that could be another problem. Better to get it sent to your home address and go with the first suggestion.

no
you cannot use the post office as delivery address, all that will happen is the your item will have an attempted delivery to your house, then it will be returned back to the post office for hold for about 1 week, then it will be shipped back to the business as undeliverable

i think it is possible but you would have to put in a request at the post office your are near at....tell them that you live somewhere else but would like your mail delivered there and if they can hold and they will give you required information

Just go to the post office and tell them to "Hold" your mails for certain days. They will do it

Actually you could have it forwarded to your Yahoo! address and pick it up there. Almost all email can be forwarded to another address.
