I'm going to be an art prelim in a few weeks i know what i'm doing in terms of painting, but anyone got any ideas on how to survive without talking, when we aren't allowed music? And we only have one break for lunch.

Just really get into your subject matter, trust me, you think five hours for an exam is a lot, but when it comes to art, you will be lucky if you are completely happy with it when the five hours come. It goes really fast. Enjoy what you are doing and make sure you do a lot of preparatory work between now and the exam as you know what you willl be painting. I did not do enough preparatory work and it actually cost me a few marks, that was a while ago and things may be different now, but when I came to sit the exam, I realised the value of the preparatory work and wished I had done more.

You will not feel the need to talk or listen to music, it will be so quiet in there apart from the sound of pencils and brushes and the like, it will go really quickly, you will get through it fine, check the time when you can and make sure that half an hour from the end of the exam, you have time to go over or complete anything you are not happy with.

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

Throw yourself into your art, seriously the time flies by and you'll need every second.
I did A-Level Art and had two 10 hour exams, which included only three small breaks. We were allowed a walkman or discman in the exam. However, I was the only one who didn't embrace this option, and the only one who got a grade A. You need your attention directed soley on your work.

Take a cookie sheet for each of them to apply as a lap tray. it's going to provide them a confusing floor to colour and play on, and the raised aspects can help shop issues from falling to the floor. My boy had a super time with a bag of "military adult males" (they're actually cowboys and indians, yet that form of toy). Is there a woman version of a few thing like that that should facilitate innovative play? We picked up some colour ask your self books that have been "clean" pages yet had a multi-colour, fractal/tie-dyed development on them which would be revealed with the markers, and those went a protracted way so some distance as entertainment is going. evaluate giving each and every of them a roll of protecting tape and permitting them to build a wall of tape between them in case you think of the two 300 and sixty 5 days previous isn't too youthful for that. Snacks that may not cause them to super thirsty, a biggish filled animal they are in a position to apply as a pillow or to dam out the solar that glares suitable of their eyes, in line with possibility particular music for them...

good luck!
