What, in your opinion, is the best song of all time by the Red Hot Chili Peppers? I don't know about anyone else, but this is a pretty hard one for me to answer. There are so many good ones. My favorite is probably Dosed, then Otherside, then Snow (Hey Oh), then Can't Stop, and then Under the Bridge. Any other opinions?

i love all their songs!!!!!
huh...i'll say dosed but it' so hard!

I got dosed by you and
Closer than most to you and
What am I supposed to do
Take it away I never had it anyway
Take it away and everything will be okay
In you a star is born and
You cut a perfect form and
Someone forever warm
Lay on lay on lay on lay on
Lay on lay on lay on lay on
We're upon the Nile where she died
All I ever wanted was your light
Deep inside the cave where I can hide
All I ever wanted was your light
Show love with no remorse and
Climb on to your seahorse and
This ride is right on course
This is the way I wanted it to be with you
This is the way that I knew that it would be with you
Lay on lay on lay on lay on
Lay on lay on lay on lay on
We're upon the Nile where she died
All I ever wanted was your light
Deep inside the cave where I can hide
All I ever wanted was your light
I got dosed by you and
Closer than most to you and
What am I supposed to do
Take it away I never had it anyway
Take it away and everything will be okay
We're upon the Nile where she died
All I ever wanted was your light
Deep inside the cave where I can hide
All I ever wanted was your light

All!

But if I had to choose one it would be .. Under the Bridge because it was their breakthrough song and really never gets old. Otherside and Dosed are such a good songs too. I also think Animal Bar, Wet Sand, and Snow are classics from Stadium Arcadium. Some of their earlier records are really good too, like Knock Me Down, Coffee Shop, American Ghost Dance, and Naked in the Rain.

These are just some of my other favorites:
Mellowship Slinky in B-Major
Parallel Universe
Get on Top
Californication
Porcelain
Slow Cheetah
Strip My Mind
Warlocks
Desecration Smile
Make You Feel Better
So Much I
We Believe
Soul to Squeeze
Nobody Weird Like Me
Aeroplane

Snow ((Hey Oh)) is a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, originally released on the band's double album Stadium Arcadium on May 9, 2006.

It is a softer, more melodic song, much like the songs from By the Way. The song is driven by a very fast and complex guitar riff by Frusciante, and is one of the few songs played with bass chords by Flea.

Frusciante.net revealed that this was going to be the third of seven songs released as a single off of Stadium Arcadium. Before even being released as a single, it climbed to number fifty-three in the UK iTunes top 100 on May 13.

In an interview, Tony Kaye, who also directed the video for "Dani California," told MTV he would be directing the video for the song. However his footage wasn't used (pictures of this shoot can be seen here [1]). Instead, Warner commissioned director Nick Wickham to shoot a new video showing the band at the 17 October and 18 October 2006 shows at Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey, along with black and white film of fans at the parking lot and lines at the live show. This video, which premiered early November 2006, can be watched on the band's official YouTube channel, here.

On January 17, 2007, "Snow ((Hey Oh))" became the band's record breaking 11th number one Modern Rock single in the United States and is the third chart topping Modern Rock single from Stadium Arcadium.

They also performed this song on February 11 2007 at the 49th annual Grammys. As usual when they perform this song, thousands of white confetti came down from the roof representing snow. After their performance they won the Grammy for Rock Album of the Year for Stadium
