Where did the stuarts (around 1642) eat? At a table or what?

Would they eat at a table in their homes, on the floor or perhaps as a big community? I need this info for a history project, btw.

the stuarts eat in front of the tele with a tray and its usualy around 5pm

They ate at a table, albeit uncouthly, throwing everything they left to the dogs, literally.
