Volunteering at an animal hospital is a great and noble way to help the community and be able to socialize with animals.

However, if you're looking for a career in the veterinary medicine field, you can also seek work at an animal hospital. People with no formal education or training typically start out as a kennel attendant or receptionist, and work their way up.

Volunteering at an animal shelter is a great way to go. If you are interested in a specific animal or breed, find a local rescue and volunteer with them.

I think you should definitely volunteer at a local shelter, and maybe get a small pet, then gradually move up to other bigger animals, such as dogs. Good Luck!!

Depends. what do you want? Do you want to work with animals or be a pet owner? I think you should get an american eskimo. That's a really neat dog.
