Go to Tools -> Add-ons. Select the VideoDownloader plugin and click on Options. Tick the box to select 'Show icon on status bar'. You will then be able to click the icon to start downloading the video that you want when you surf to the preferred website.

u should see the icon u see in the addon list in the status bar next to ur load bar.open any video (ex:any thing in video.google.com) and let the play start.then click on icon and u can see a window where link is given.
all this works if u have compatible version of firefox.get the newer version of fire fox.and reinstall it. if not correctly installed u can see in addons it is paled out.

Go to:

Tools
Add ons
Extensions
Double click the application you download to activate it

I then suggest you refer to the instruction given with the download to understand the functions of the application.

You also need to restart your machine and browser.

It will then appear in your system tool bar and browser.

As far as I can remember correctly most add ons must be rebooted first through the computer meaning reboot your system and when it opens again it should be there waitin' for ya!
