To be honest, I cannot understand people thanking God for anything. I can understand people being grateful for their good fortune, but to allie it specifically to God is another matter. As far as I am concerned, if God is so loving, why does he allow such carnage and misery to happen in the world. That is not the action of a loving God who is supposed to be our father.

Every single one of us is a miracle. Each one of us beat odds of 30,000 to one against being conceived. We survived when 1 in 3 pregnacies end before the first three months. We were born, another risky business. So, no matter how you were concieved, there were plenty of opportunities for you not to have made it this far. Thank God you did.

I'll tell you what, we lost our first, the second survived and is fit and healthy but we lost the third.
We thank God for the one we have but don't blame him for the ones we lost.
The human body is a vehicle for the production of children and if you believe in God, your question is spurious, sorry.

They want to believe in god and clutch any straw they can.

I also dont understand why people call childbirth a miracle when basically any slapper can open her legs and get impregnated.

Thanks.
