Conservatives couldn't stay in Vietnam until the job was done because the liberals sabotaged every effort we made to win. Liberals lied and lied and lied so much that they got their way, and the 3 million Vietnamese that were murdered after the American CUT & RUN is squarely on the heads of the loopy libs. Now they want to repeat their same cowardly tactics in Iraq. You're all a bunch of future Hanoi Janes and Hanoi Johns. You even vote for that freakin' traitor.

Doesn't matter what we should have done , the Democrats in congress wanted to inflict a military and political loss on America for there political gain .
Almost worked except for the fact they elected Jimmy Carter in 76.
( 1976 and 2008 elections will have many similarties if the Democrats have there way)

Yes South Vietnam was lost , but look at how many times the Democrats have been selected to be President since Vietnam fell
1 for Carter 2 for Clinton 12 year or 3 terms out of 8 .

For the good of the world America must be the decider. With all our military might we must stay proficient by practicing our craft. Probably better we stay in Iraq. By staying in Iraq the American people would not as apt to allow the military to pounce on another country.

I'm not so sure practice always make perfect.

Yes, there are similiarities... the media making a mockery out of what the nation is trying to accomplish, our soldiers coming home to a less than welcoming atmosphere, Americans ripping other Americans apart...

Too bad some people haven't learned from the past. We have a job to finish.

Edit: To any vets reading this - not all Americans have forgotten what you were fighting for, in either conflict.

It's why we got out in part that bothers me. It was nonsupport of the country and the media that did major damage in reporting that turned the people against it. I have 3 cousins who were medics in Nam and they said the same thing happening now is what happened there. None of the good they did was ever reported. Yes, we should have stayed.

Yes, shame on us for leaving early. Now everyone thank the liberal and democrats for pulling us out - which lead to the deaths of some 3-5 million Cambodians and south Vietnamese.

Now they want to do the same thing....But we will never let them!
