Nicholas Sparks is a great writer. He has a very emotional way of writing. True Believer has a little science fiction in it and it is a wonderful book. The follow up to True Believer is called At First Sight.

Unfortunately, you've left the field a little too wide open; but the best book I ever read was The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William Shirer. I found it to be a page-turner -- and I already knew how it was going to end.
