You could have water on the leaves and the intermitent sun has burnt the fronds, turning them brown.
Or the freezing weather we have had recently has got to it.
My suggestion is you can `coddle' it by putting a blanket `type' around it or just watch to see if it really dying.

At this time of year plants can be vulnerable to cold, drying winds which can kill them. It is really just like freeze-drying. Protect with fleece or wrap bubble-plastic around a ring of garden canes placed round the plant. Spray water daily on the leaves to prevent the surface drying out.
Hope this helps.

if u are taking care of it the way you always did (watering etc) then maybe it is diseased, ie it may have some pest or other plant bacteria/virus.
