Water in the gas tank and lines is very common. More so than most people think it is. To help you out here, if you had a two gallon glass container with a gallon of gas in it(doesn't matter what grade), to make it run poorly, you'd have to add about another quart if not nearly a half gallon of water to the gasoline to make it really bad. Rough idling at stop lights/signs as well as stalling is an ignition system problem with some sounds of electrical problems as well. Adding the product Heet, or the newer Iso-Heet to your cars gas tank is MORE expensive than going to the pharmacy and buying a bottle of 91-100% Isopropal alcohol and adding that to you gas tank! That's what's really in both Hewet products. The alcohol bonds with the water and helps it to burn and pass through the car out the exhaust pipe. Add two bottles of the affore mentioned alcohol to the tank first. If the stalling and rough running persists, then change out the plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor and have the alternator checked as well. If your car has one, or two or more, check the ignition module(s) also.

The bottle of Heet will say how many gallons it treats, generally 20. If you only have a quarter tank, than only put in a quarter of the bottle. To much could cause damage to the fuel injectors. Some manufacturer injectors are designed so that fuel actually runs over the injector windings, and to harsh of a chemical could remove the laminate coating on those windings causing the injector to short out and fail. I have never seen this happen from using Heet, but it is possible. Hope this helps. Christopher

Rather than use a "name" brand just use methyl hydrate, it's the same product without the "name" price.
