Yes, especially if I'm on the phone with someone making an appointment or stuff like that. All of a sudden I can't get the words out and can't even remember my own phone number when they ask. My wife usually takes over when I'm like that. I don't know what happens, but I just don't do business over the phone very well I guess. Also, if I'm around a group of people that I don't really know, it will happen to me. I guess I 'm just a bit uncomfortable in that situation, so my mind goes blank when I'm trying to tell a story and things like that. I hate it, but I do have short term memory loss, so that may explain part of it.

Sometimes, information is stored by the brain in an uncached memory area and thus there is a slight time lag while the brain scans its index of available memory items.

Other times, that information is located in a cached area because of recent use, and can be retrieved instantaneously.

Hi..
If you fear the opposite...
this fear doesn't let you think freely which in turn affects your reply......
and at such a moment you feel like your mind has gone blank and you cannot answer whatever he has asked or will be asking..

That is, if I heard the question in the first place or if I was just knodding to agree, and not really listen to what the person was saying!

An attentive mind would do so. For, in this process, there are no biased effects.
