a big cause is by sea dumping - like ships,companies,people etc - dumping their trash and waste into the sea. another cause is by fuel ships and oil barges that have spills,or leakage which dumps oil/gas or other chemicals into the sea.

It's caused by humans carelessly using the ocean as a dumping ground.

It is caused by people throwing their trash in it. By animals going in it...but mostly by industries.....

many ways pesticide run off from farming ,industry,people dumping watse, ships and boats etc etc etc etc
