See, I come from a little town where this thing doesn't ever happen, but if it does then the couple is picked on...why is that? what do you feel? do you think its fine? I do...my fiance is african american so it doesn't bother me but it seems to bother a lot of other people I just want to know why?

If both are from the human species then it should be okay. When people from your town complain, tell them you don't feel like sleeping with your cousin like everyone does.

"i'm here's" comment is the dumbest thing you can listen to. When you meet people with no accomplishments they tend to think inward and try to project as if their being alone is in itself an accomplisment and better than any other group.

There has been a lot of bad water between the races ever since slavery and all those things so it seems a little odd why the would want to mix race after such a dreadful past and experience which has been past from one to the next. But i think that the past is the past and if two people want to get together race should not matter

Some day, in the distant future there will be so many mixtures that just about everybody will a little of each race in him. Maybe racial squabbles will end then.
Of course there will probably always be some who will point out he has more of this or that than the other guy. " I'm one eight white, you're only one sixteenth "/

people are arrongant and stupid. they do not like to adjust to new things. I could not care if the person is purple and from the planet zenon if we had things in common and we like to be in each others company i do not see why other people have to stick their noses in my eprsonal buisness. If you lave your fiance you love him and there is not discrimating glare in this world that could tear you and him apart. Ignore them dont make it bother you. People will never change. It is either black or white to them and they never consider the grey areas. If you love him cudos to you. Caryy on with your life and tell people who have a problem to shove their comments where the sun dont shine

it makes me happy to see interracial couples. i like how far we've come because it's becoming more and more acceptable now. some people will always stare and talk but they will have to get over it because they are in the wrong.

If two people are in a commited and loving relationship, race shouldn't matter. Anyone who lets race matters needs to get their priorities checked.
