I just bought it and am not happy with the water level.
There seems to be only enough to wet the clothes and that's it.
I am told by Frigidaire that this is OK.
Is yours like that???
Thanks for any feedback.

I have a new frigidaire afinity front loader. i am concerend about the water levels. there is no control, it is automatic. there is only enough water to dampen the clothes, and no more. i am told this is the way it is supposed to be. is your machine like that? Or do you have a water level you can see through the door? How far up is it on the door?
Thank you for any feedback.

I too feel the same but learned to let it go...

My clothes are coming out clean so that helped me get over it. Are yours ? IF the clothes are not coming out clean I would hit up the dealer and demand a different machine.

It uses so little water I don't know how it can possibly clean but I am loving the amount of clothes and or bedding I can cram into it. I have really cut down on the amount of chlorine I use as well. It asks for so little and I am trying to follow directions. Other than the water level, I love my Frigidaire !!

: )

I actually have a Frigidaire front load washer and that i merely went and smelled it. It smells effective. With 3 young infants, I wash quite some actually grimy clothing. the only ingredient i will think of of is a few thing could be caught in that accordion-like ring interior the front. now and back i visit discover issues in there that must be bumped off. i'm especially particular you have checked this already so which you will possibly be able to ought to call a restoration guy or woman.

I don't have a Frigidaire, but I have a Whirlpool front load washer.

Yes, this is normal in front loading machines, one of their features is that they use about a 1/3 of the water of top loading machines. I don't know if I even notice a water level in the window on mine.

You should also use detergents labelled HE (high efficiency). Standard detergents have too much surfactant (I think) in them that produces lots of suds. The front loading machines don't do that, as a matter of fact, the couple of times I did use standard detergent in the washer, it automatically ran a second and third rince cycle.

I love my front loading machine though. I can wash larger loads, and it gets my clothes much cleaner than before. I mean, think about it, a top loading machine, as the clothes are washed, they are being washed in dirty water. Not so with the front loading machines. It will take some getting used to, but I don't think I'll go back to a top loading machine.

Front loading washers of all brands use far less water than top loaders.

It is common, so don't worry unless you have some major cleaning issues.
