i had just finished reading the first one and would like to know about the second book please someone help me out

OMG. I LOVE her books, lol. Don't read New Moon first, though... read Twilight.
Basic synopsis you can find on her website, www.stephaniemeyer.com, for both of the books, as well as the new one that is cominig out in August (I have two copies pre-ordered already, lol).
My attempt at a synopsis: High school girl moves to a new town, where her father lives. Sees and meets Edward. Gets to know him... turns out he's a vampire, as are the rest of his 'family.' It goes on from there, and they are excellent. I love those books, and am actually on my fourth or fifth time reading them. They take you and draw you in from the first sentence, first word. She's an excellent writer, and the scenes she evokes... wow. Brilliant in detail... it really feels like you are actually there.
I highly suggest you, and everyone else in the world, read them. It is more than worth your time, your money... they are exellent reads, and give a new perspective on things that are, or were, pretty much set in stone. :)

I'm also in your same situation and was about to ask the same question! The first book is my favorite book that I've read recently, and I can't wait for the second one. Hope you find your answer! Sorry I couldn't help!

New Moon is a great book...maybe not as great as Twilight...but still a very good book. I certainly couldn't put it down. It continues the story of Bella...and it's best not to know too much beforehand...why spoil it if you're planning on reading it...
