Bearded Dragons make VERY good pets. They aren't very hyper and they are easily cared for. They are usually around $100 for a plain one, the more color, the more expensive. They eat crickets, mealworms, carrots, lettuce, and other worms and vegetables. Make sure to stay away from fruits and things that have a lot of acid like tomoatoes, the acid content isn't very good for them. You will also need to buy calcium dist for the crickets so they beardies can have calcium. They will also need a tank with a screen lid. When yoou put sticks and rocks in there for them to bask on, make sure the limbs are far enough away from the screen so they won't rub their nose on t and rub their nose raw on the screen. They don't need shots like dogs and cats and don't HAVE to see the vet. I have two bearded dragons, both males. My oldest is 4 and the other one is 3. They are real nice when they are apart, but together they get a bit teritorial. Other than that, they are real nice.

Yes, they are good pets. They eat lettuce and mealworms, and stay in a glass case. They like to climb on little logs.
