Yikes. This was the way communist Russia was during the Stalanist period. You would might have liked that. Towing the government's line, everyone careful with what they said, neighbor turning on neighbor. Fascism enjoyed this too. Youa are in good company.

Given the libs' love of government and enforcing correct behavior, I'd expect them to be more likely to report their con neighbors.

In a totalitarian govt. that would be a govt. by intimidations tactic. In a democratic Govt. the people should keep a close eye on each branch in Govt so that facsist extremest don't come to power.
Don't fool yourself the GWB-CHENEY admin. are nothing more thug bully's taking american taxpayers for a ride, while putting it's soldiers in harms way.

Well I think that it is the job of a citizen to report anything suspicious in general. That is what they trained us to do when I was in the Air Force. I do see your point though, liberal seem to want to support every communist, terrorist, and dictatorship out there. The only reason why I think that isn't necessary is because most liberals are weak in both mind and body.
