Looks as though he is protecting himself, or knows many who need protecting. Besides the order means little. He didn't forbid her from GIVING it to some journalist or another. Or letting someone READ it. Nor did he forbid her from placing it on display somewhere for all eyes to gaze upon.
The whole thing is silly. Prostitution has been around since the beginning of time. It will never change, no matter the laws. Too many men like the idea of so-called illicit sex, and too many women are willing to provide it. I can't figure out why they just don't legalize it and collect taxes.
Gee. do you think perhaps some of the president's men are on that list?
You mean to say that we're paying some senator's P----- bill! omg! Quick - call John Ashcroft back! Call - well just call every d--- body!

Men protect men..it's the way of the world. It's women who are bullied and judged against to keep them in line don't you know.
The list should be sold and published in the Washington Post for all to see.
It's time to put a stop to jailing and prosecuting 'Madam's' only. They're only half of the 'crime' as I see it. Lets be fair and equal here..let the world know who you are..if you're not ashamed you don't have to hang your head or cover your face as you leave the courtroom.
Lets be fair here. Either legalize it or stop persecuting those who take part in the action.
Write your elected representative.I suspect he'll respond only if he's not on the list.

YOU MEAN POLITICIANS ARE USEING HOOKERS !!!!!!!!! omg if politicians stop useing hookers the countrys economy would fall apart !!! Seriously though The madam has the right to sell her client lists but that also means shed profit from the crime which is illegal also . ANd yes the public too has a right to know whos on the list as in the officals elected to office and working in the public . But if you think The AMERICAN SHEEP would hound them from office youd be wrong the america public is too wrapped up in their toys their enertainment ,their own problems , trying to keep up with the jones to care or even notice that their elected officals are using hookers anyhow

Who cares who is screwing who? Like "officials" have no sex drive? Come on! The most powerful people in the world are powerful due to their strong personalities, drive, and commitment. So they should sew up their genitalia for some reason? Why isn't prostitution legal? Who is being victimized? Don't believe the stories of children being forced into the lifestyle. If it were legal and controlled, it would be a healthy pastime, tax base, less divorce. Stupid law.

I am not a lawyer, so I can only guess. Wouldn't that be allowing an accused criminal to profit from her crime? Wouldn't she be implicating herself in her guilt? Basically, the list would be worthless if she hadn't commited any crime. Could the list be used to ruin possibly innocent people without trial? I know in the past, murderers have been forbidden from profiting from book deals detailing their crimes (does this fall in the same category?)

That has me puzzled too. How can you forbid someone to sell a client list. You can give the list to a journalist for no compensation whatsoever??
Surely its not considered profiteering, is it? (Profiteering is the act of making a profit by methods considered unethical)

Write your reps. Unless they are women I doubt your letter will get very far. Many are on the list and that would expose more bad boys than just Newt et al.

I guess it depends on what information is on the list. While prostitution is illegal, it has nothing to do with your Visa card or American Express number, which may be on "the list"
