Find a quiet place away from your usual haunts with adequate lighting and comfortable furniture. Concentrate on the subject or subjects that have proven to be the most difficult for you. If you've kept your tests from the past semester, take them out and study them. Don't try to do it all in one sitting - you didn't learn what you did learn in one class period. Keep the time limit to about 45 minutes to an hour for any one subject - don't allow yourself to become "bored to tears" on any one subject. Hey, that "B" will look good on your final report card. GOOD LUCK!

May 13 is not too far away. Cramming before an exam is not the way to go. The best way to study is to follow your lessons and understanding them from day to day, and not allowing things to get by, thinking that you can all of a sudden learn the stuff right away by a "crash course" in math.

In math you have to be very disciplined in learning things step by step. If you are not able to do it on a daily basis it will not be easy to get caught up enough to understand the basic principles in order to apply them to your studies.

**Flash cards are always key!! Review them every day to you memorize them.
**Read and outline chapters of the book. Once you outlined the book with highlighter, go back and write the highlighed part on paper. Writing the material helps you memorize it.
**Recording information and playing it back to yourself while sleeping also helps.

I would recommend (if this is a big exam) review your material every day before going to bed. You have a lot of time so the earlier the better!!!

Good luck!!
