If you are like that then it's reality ,,,, We all have to face reality no matter who we are regardless of circumstances ,,,, You've obviously come to this realization about yourself so your mother has to also ,,,, There is no other way to tell her other than to just start a conversation and work it in at one point or another and just come out with it ,,,, She is your parent ,,,, She should love you no matter what the circumstances are simply because you are her child ,,,, there should be no conditions or reservations to a parents love for their child ,,,, Like you she has to accept it one way or the other ,,,, Just how graceful she does is up to her so you have no control over that ,,,, Your question indicates that this situation is a burden to you ,,,, That's not good ,,,, Get it done as soon as possible ,,,, It's doing you no good to hold it in and doesn't change the situation if you do ,,,, If you feel she should know then like I said just tell her ,,,, There's nothing else for it ,,,, Good question ,,,, You got a star for it from me ,,,, good luck with this ,,,, Yoda told you so ,,,,

First, why did Yoda give everyone a thumbs down for our answers?

Second, try this conversation. Mom, I'm taking you to lunch. I have something important to talk to you about and I want to do it where you won't get mad at me. And, no, I'm not pregnant and I'm not married or getting married. It's just something about me I want to talk to you about. Don't ask any questions until we've had a nice lunch together.

Listen, any way you do it, she's your mom. Unless she's an intellectually and emotionally challenged individual, she'll deal with it. She might not accept it at first. She might not like it. Ever! She is your mom and she will deal with it. Just tell her. Public or private, just tell her. Do give her some warning that you have something important to tell her; that way she isn't caught off guard.

Really, unless your mom is psycho, she loves you and will find a way, with time, to deal with the news.

It depends upon the type of relationship you have with her and whether or not you think she will accept it. Be as honest and gentle as possible when you tell her. Tell her you love her and her acceptance and understanding means a lot to you, but that even if she can't accept you for who you are, you can't change. Good Luck.

as a mom I would think to be open honest
and let ehr know it is nothing she did , so many people think its my fault what did I do wrong
Correct that thought for her first. There is NOTHING my daughter would or could do to make me walk away from her or turn my back on her... I just hope you mom is open minded.
and Good luck

It depends on how long have you known and how old are you ? Most mothers do not want to hear about their kids sex life .Why tell her at all ? She will find out in time on her own .

TALK TO HER AND ASK HER HOW SHE FEEL ABOUT BI ? THEN WHEN SHE TELL YOU HOW SHE FEEL TELL. LET THAT YOU HAVE TRY IT AND THAT YOU WANT HER TO UNDERSTAND YOUR FEELING AND YOU WILL RESPECT HER. BUT LET HER KNOW THAT THIS SOMETHING THAT YOU WANT.NOT SOMETHING THAT SHE MAY NOT WANT. BUT LET HER KNOW THAT YOU LOVE HER NO MATTER WHAT.

Well ask her hypothetically what she would do if you were.
And then maybe you could tell her you are, but say that you 'd like to fix that -well maybe you don't but tell her you dislike what's happening to you so that she won't be mad.
