152/4 at 42 overs - Sehwag, Sachin have all been pathetic. Only old Ganguly has kept the guard alive seriously, I don't expect a high score in today's match.
Bangladesh is playing like ferocious lions, (do they eat beef for their added strength and vitality?)
If this is the performance at the opener, I don't expect this team to play well at all.
Seriously, the team under Ganguly was always CONSISTENT even when they lost - I miss his captaincy. Greg Chappell and Dravid have played with the feelings of too many cricket fans in this country and also those BCCI selectors.
"Indian cricket is dead and the ashes have been cremated in the Caribbean sands" is my epitaph for this team.
I hate even Tendulkar now.

it's about time we all stopped watching and playing cricket in this country and give due consideration to other neglected sports such as Hockey, Football and even Baseball if need be, I don't want to buy a single product endorsed by Indian cricketers after this shameless performance. They all must be heavily fined (all the millions of dollars they earn every year comes out of OUR pockets) for such an arrogant and offhand display.
M.S. Dhoni started off as such a welcome relief but even he's become victim of commercialisation. And Sehwag, i just hate his smile - "he seems to think all his countrymen are dumb fools that rally behind him" - even Munaf Patel, the star bowler was thought to be the answer to Brett Lee and Shoaib Akhtar - what's wrong with him.
I really feel like crying although I'm quite a grown-up person.

Getting all out for 191 runs in 49.3 overs against a team like Gangladesh was totally shame on the part of India's batting line up. Full credit should be given to Bangladesh Bowlers. It was a collective failure of top order batsmen. When bowlers like Zaheer Khan and Munaf Patel could score 15 runs each, the failure of Sehwag, Uthappa, Dravid, Sachin and Dhoni is totally inexplicable.

Chasing target of 192 should not be that difficult for Bangladesh. The match is yet to start after India's dismal performance of batting that ended a while ago at: 191 from 49.3 Overs
See, what I wrote today in response to one question like : "By how much runs India jeet vs. Bangladesh?" 18 hours ago...
Quote:
There is no question that India will win the match that starts 7:35 PM tonight our time on 17th March 2007.
The tone of your question may be good to hear in Indian ears, but it gives us a bit of sadness that we are just in Primary school and we are to compete lopsided with some University students (lol)
I am just wondering what Indians would do if by any wild chance the Bengal Tigers would maul (tear the flesh of Indians) their ego by any spectacular incident, if not by winning the match itself!
Whole of Bangladesh would be praying for our team's success though!
Un-quote

Updated at 11:00 PM Bangladesh Standards Time:
India scored: 191 from 49.3 Overs
Bangladesh will bat now:

I m sorry but today's situation is realy funny , If indian Cricket is dead, pakistani cricket is already rotton ......132 all out agaisnt Ireland.........LOL, these new team are giving a real beating to these top ranking teams..... wicket is not favouring batting in early hours and thats why these teams are not playing well but still, they are against new teams and strange performance huh!.........If india had won the toss, they should have chosen to field first !
Wow ! You want to nuke Bangladesh for getting indian team out on 191?? ....Come on man, the fault lies in the experienced teams who are taking new teams light !.......why to nuke Bangladesh then? just because they put a hard work against the experienced teams? I think they should be appreciated for their effort.....Remeber kenyia has once qualified for semifinal !these teams have bright future and they are gona rule this game! the one who plays best on the day gets the reward !
Anyways......India still has a chance to win provided they put all their effort in fielding ! take it easy ! and don't lose hope, Enjoy the game not the team ! thats my believe!
And Btw i was always of the opinion that Ganguly is a better captain than Dravid for your team !Anyways !

Dravid was unlucky with the LBW...Sehwag shouldn't have been picked, Pathan or Karthik should be in the lineup. Uthappa should've opened....bad execution. I hope they somehow muster up 200. Some of the Indian batsmen played bad shots but you have to belive the uneven bounce on the pitch should've caused some problems. And hopefully with zaheer, munaf and agarkar can unleash with their strike bowling!

seriously.this game has been devastating!!!!!!and now five wickets in a row!and Dhoni was the biggest upset.......just a wicket left..i hope they'd atleast complete 50 overs, but it looks kinda unlikely.I just hope that the fielding will be much better than the batting(Amen)

i feel like crying too, don't worry! there's still hope, india WILL win... i know it's depressing to see how india is deproving, but it's not too bad! 191 all out.. it's possible to get bangladesh all out in this pitch! think out it, we DO have good bowlers yeah! don't lose hope... everyone has their bad days and we as supporters lose hope, think of our team! the pitch might actually favour our team, let's just hope they rather save the boundaries than die trying.. which IS possible!
