I am applying for the Banker position that was advertised with company website. I believe the combination of my academic experiences and my analytical skills make me a strong candidate for this position.
According to the company website, your position seeks for a dependable and organized person. I recently received my B.S. degree in Finance. As part of my coursework, I took an Introduction to Money and Banking course. By completing this course, I gain the knowledge of payment and banking systems, credit and market risk management, The Federal Reserve System and globalization of monetary, banking and regulatory systems.
My background and goals seem to match your requirements. As a senior at the University of XXXX at XXXX, Managerial Finance course assigned a group project which accounts for 25% of course grade. Along with my three group members, we made every effort to complete project on time. I am confident that I can demonstrate my ability to perform the job

Yes, see suggestions within the letter below.
I am applying for the Banker position that was advertised on your company website. I believe the combination of my academic experiences and my analytical skills make me a strong candidate for this position.
According to the company website, your position seeks a dependable and organized person. I recently received my B.S. degree in Finance. As part of my coursework, I took an Introduction to Money and Banking course. By completing this course, I gained knowledge of payment and banking systems, credit and market risk management, the Federal Reserve System and globalization of monetary, banking and regulatory systems.
My background and goals seem to match your requirements. As a senior at the University of XXXX at XXXX, I completed a course in Managerial Finance. One assignment in this course was a group project which accounted for 25% of the course grade. My three group members and I made every effort to complete the project on time. I am confident that I can demonstrate my ability to perform the job requirements.
As for the sentence "My three group members and I made every effort to complete the project on time," I think you should be clear as to whether or not you actually did complete the project on time. If you did, then state that. If you did not, then don't mention it at all.
Good luck!

First paragraph: "advertised on your company website"
2nd para: "your position seeks a dependable..."
and "I gained the knowledge...."
last para: if you completed the project, and got a good grade, say that. If you just made every effort to complete it on time but didn't, leave that out. And you could say a few words on what the project was about.
Good luck.

First para: do not capitalize banker. Second para: "gain" should be "gained."
The main advice I would give you would be to expound more fully on your training and qualifications. Tell exactly what you accomplished in your Managerial Finance class, not that you tried to complete it on time. You don't say if you actually DID complete it on time, just that you tried. You really need to sell yourself.

_____________, (make a quick call to the school and find out the name of the manager for the area and use their name here, it shows initiative) I am writing to you in reference to the recently advertised Administrative Assistant position. My name is _______, I have recently graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelors in Social and Behavioral Sciences and a Minor in Social Work, and am now seeking permanent employment. I feel that my past work and volunteer experience as well as my educational background make me the right candidate for the position. I have worked in the child care industry for the majority of my career and can honestly say that children are my passion. I have worked with both mainstream and special needs children so I know how challenging and rewarding it can be. My experience working in different settings such as day cares, after school enrichment programs and family shelters have given me the right abilities needed to build close and rewarding relationships with the parents and their children. I feel that working in a school environment will allow me to build the same close and rewarding relationships as the ones that I have had in the past. My past internship jobs and my work with many school organizations have taught me many of the skills that I now posses, I believe that these skill can be applied effectively to this position. I have a very strong work ethic and strong organizational skills, I work extremely well under pressure and am fast thinking and logical. My past educational history has also provided me with the knowledge I need to work in the professional field. I have taken numerous courses in the field of child education such as: -Exceptional child psychology -Developmental psychology -Children and society, and American Society. I speak fluent Spanish, and have excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills. I'm proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software... See what you think of those changes ? also maybe say something briefly about your personality (from a more personal not proffesional point of view, to say what you will be like to work with) Are you sending a resume also or just the letter, consider sending a resume attached to the letter, and maybe shorten the cover letter or change it to reference points in your resume, unless they are just asking for a letter only. Maybe mention what you used the software for and how that relates to this job, it looks good though and you seem like the right person for the job ! Good Luck :)

A cover letter must have three things...
The reason for writing, the experiences you have, and an active last statement.
It's missing an active last statement.
