Does anyone like being cold a name that you aren't. Like I get called emo and redneck, and etc. Why do other people do that?

The people that make fun of me mainly are guys. Not girls. Why?

It's surprising that they aren't gurls, being in the 6th grade i get a lot of snotty girls being rude to me, but with guys it's different. With girls the main reason is because they are jealous of you and wish they had something of yours that they don't. Guys usually pick on girls because they like them. I mean i hate to sound like a broken record because a lot of people are probably going to say this, but they probably have a thing for you or something. If you're totally 100% positive it's not that, then it's probably because they are just trying to be cool in front of their friends. Try saying something next time they call you a redneck or an emo. Something like, "We both know that the only reason you're making fun of me is because you like me." It may be really hard for you to say because you don't want people making fun of you anymore, but if you say it in front of his friends and a whole bunch of people it'll make him even more embarassed than you, so don't worry. If they still don't stop then completely ignore them. If you don't give them any reason to talk about you or anything to say about your reaction, then they'll stop. If you make a face or tell on them then they'll go make up another name for you and the name-calling and picking will never come to an end. They do this because they have nothing else to do with their lives and although it seems to you and i cruel of them and all, they get all happy when they know their job is done, when you have given up or are sad. So just take my advice and hang in their gurl, they aren't worth it.

People make fun of other people because they are insecure with themselves and making fun of other people makes them feel better.Basically they are just losers and remember the old saying"misery loves company"..If someone is making fun of you that just means that they are jealous of you so just feel sorry for them and move on...Don't let them bring you down just remember that they are really miserable people and be glad that you have a life that they can't have...

Ignoring one of the things that can stop them from continuing calling it. Another one is just pretend like you dont listen at all is another thing. if they say that youre deaf, just tell them the truth that you dont like it to be called like that. Tell them you had a good name and reputation too just like them. Ask them do they like to call like that too. Maybe they will reconsider to call you again.

They are getting rid of all their own problems by giving them to you. Just ignore them. If it gets to REALLY bad words, you know who to tell.
Of course I don't like it!

baby girl, those people are ignorance. don't mind them. they just want to feel better about themselves by putting someone else down. it's sad growing up process. they are just not mature yet. sad sad sad world we live in.

yeah. but the people who mostly make fun of me are girls. they call me like a loser, dumb, or a ditzy blonde. (i am brunette) so yeah. it bothers me soooo much,

they do it because they think its cool! but if you notice that they dont like to be called names either!! try calling them preppy!! they wont like it when they ask you to stop tell them that thats how you feel and that you wont stop untill they stop!!
