Emo kids like bands like The Cure, Placebo, Cat Power, and basically bands where the singer sounds like he's crying the whole time. Goth kids like Nine Inch Nails, Marylin Manson, Korn, Insane Clown Possie, and also metal and punk. Emo kids are usually stuck up dramatic losers who just b*itch about everything. Goths can be cool, they can also be dorks lol. Emo kids wear big thick framed black glasses and wear turtle neck sweaters, goths wear all black and white makeup.

well way back in 2004 the goths were having huge problems recruiting new members. It just became stale. People were sick of crying, practicing wicca, cutting themselves, and being sad. The goths got a bad name. So then in 2004 some enterprising goths said hey, how are we going to attract new people to misery. I KNOW! We will merge with the punks and make it out to be "against the system" and counterculture. So then they merged with the punks and stole the nasally singing, and the rebellion. Then from the goths they stole the suffering and emotion. Then around 2006 Emos were out of style because it is really stupid and wimpy. So they said hey, how do we make ourselves seem MANLY AND HARDCORE. I know! mix emo music with hardcore and call it scremo. No matter how you cut it, it is stupid.

emo is like EMOtional like you have feeling towards other stuff like "i wonder how that feels", and goth is like metal and black clothing and stuff
