I think you need to learn to manage more friends at one time. The concept of best friend involves some commitment. If this stings as rejection you may want to just have good friends and not use the benefits of best friends. Lower the commitment level a bit and build a circle of friends.

Sounds like hes not much of a friend...I mean did you ask could you go with them.Its hard when your friends meet other people and it changes them.Just give it your best sot and remeber their is tons of other people you can be freinds with just be NICE

let him go tonight to the movies with his new friends...you may smother him and push him away. tomorrow or next weekend ask him and his new friends to do something with you. if he doesnt want to, let him know that you feel like hes ditching out on you for new friends, but in a less girly way!
