With a history major, you could be a teacher or get into a more general field like business. The money depends on where you work, since business pays a lot more than teaching.

A masters would be better if you wanted to be a teacher, because you could teach at a community college, or teach more advanced classes in high school. Or, if you wanted to work in a museum or something, a masters would help there too.

The price of the college has no effect on wages. The main reason colleges cost different amounts is that public schools are funded with taxes, while private ones are not.

After the age of fifty, moved from the West coast to the East coast. all started doing income taxes for an organization, off season I worked in a plant nursery, then nights at a the USPS doing records conversion, moved again to the West, worked in a motel in a motel section for 6 months, got here again to the city and signed up with a employer, 2 calls in 7 weeks, went to artwork as a caregiver and did that till retirement about a three hundred and sixty 5 days in the past.
