when will it be pointed out?

Question

Women rightfully point out that they are not paid equally as men in the corporate world.

However, when will it be pointed out that women have to meet easier standards to be in the military, police force, or in a firefighter.

I don't mind men bashing when it is deserved (i.e. unequal pay), but a lot of men are losing jobs involving physical strength (i.e. cops, firefighters) to women who are less qualified simply b/c women have demanded a certain percentage of these jobs even though they are less qualified than the men.

These are the double standards that make men bitter toward women.

I was in the military when I was 17 and I am a female. We were the very first female basic training company at that base. We were treated exactly like the men were treated. We were also paid less than the men were paid. The woman got a lot more injuries because of our treatment 9e.g. the company C.O. taking the rope that we were climbing and throwing it making people fall and break bones because they were near the top). The next female company that went through there was treated much differently. I have to say MEN are not losing out in jobs in the military you are crazy if you think that they are out of the 15 drill sergeants and the officers in our company can you guess how many were female (only 1). It has been proven that women can do these jobs, women are dying in Iraq too just like men are they are put in the front lines so why should they get paid any less? It is men like you that cause women to take 4 1/2 months longer to make the same pay for the EXACT same job to make the SAME amount of pay. Women do the same things that men do in the military why should they get less. They put their lives on the line to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Women in the US military do not have the same jobs as men...did you have your head in the ground during time there?

Name a single US army front line combat unit that has women...you cant because women are prohibited from combat units...

That said, some women do occasionally come under enemy fire in pursuing their duties as transport and other troops, but it is incidental and not a part of their job description....

Men in front line combat units should get paid much more than anyone else in the military because they put their lives on the line...women who complain about that should have a 50 caliber MG fired off over their head for an hour to simulate combat....

You have asked this question many times and obviously you want to continue reiterating these facts because you can't understand why you can't get a job. I would say this is probably based more on psychological reasons and personalities defects then physical condition. Women are given the job because they are qualified. Strength is not the always attribute that helps a person defend themselves and others. There is agility, skill, speed, cunning, guile, and intelligence. Women posses all of these.

Harboring bitterness, for whatever reason, accomplishes nothing. Acknowledging inequity is fine, if you can then either let it go or work to change it. But constant whining about it is pretty useless.

They get paid less because it is assumed they can't work as good as a man.

Man need more money because it is also assumed we are more aggressive drivers than women, henceforth get higher car insurance rates.
