Hellen Keller. A woman who had no sight, hearing, or speech, and yet did not let any of this get her down. She could have used these disabilities as a reason to do nothing, yet she used them as a stepping stone and became an inspiration for many. I remember as a kid thinking how so many people who had so much more than her had so much less. Always whining about what they didn't have or couldn't do. As bad as it gets, it could always be worse.

my mum. she's the strongest woman i know. having gone through so much in life, a failed marriage and she had to support me and my bro through school. she worked so hard each and everyday while i was schooling and never complained about her plight. she has never once said she's tired or that she's suffered so much. but how could she not be? it's just that she's so strong. and very often when we compare a woman with a man, it seems that a man is so much stronger. but i can honestly say, my mum is a living example that women can be so powerful and so tough when they are faced with life's toughest challenges. i really look up to her as she has so much strength. sometimes i wish i have half of her determination and motivation when facing obstacles.

My children... They constantly inspire humor, love, thought, selflessness and consideration in me. They teach me as much as I teach them and give back more than I give them every day!

I raised them.

and if I do say so myself... I did a pretty damn good job too!
