Lately, just out of no where everything will go black. Just yesterday i went to walk to turn in a paper in Biology and, when i got there everything just started to go black. It's kinda looks like when you see flashes when you look at the sun for a long time, but it isnt just in one place of my eye its black flashed and i cant see and i about fall down. People tell me it looks like a blank stare, and it only last for about 5-10 seconds.

It sounds like you may be dehydrated, for one thing. The brown outs (which is what it's called when you get that feeling but don't actually black out) may be caused by your rapidly getting up and moving. Try getting up more slowly and standing still for awhile before you start walking. Drink more fluids during the day. Are you eating 3 meals a day, plus snacks? Your blood sugar could be low. Why did you lose 9 pounds? On purpose? Are you having a problem with food, or think you're too fat? Are you feeling too ill to eat?

Tell your parents that at your age of 15 you're supposed to get your tetanus booster shot. You will have had your last one around age 5, and you need them every 10 years. When you go in for that booster, tell the doctor about your problem. I truly think it is essential that you see a doctor. You could have a very serious problem like a brain tumor or epilesy, or it could be a dietary or electrolyte problem. You should be checked out. Tell your parents you really want to go to a doctor, and if they don't want to take you, go to the school nurse every time it happens so she can write or call your parents and recommend you be checked out. Good luck!

Sounds serious and something that CAN ONLY BE ANSWERED BY A DOCTOR. PLEASE GO ASAP. The yellow in your eyes could mean your liver is having a problem. The blackouts with flashes could be a severe migraine aura or possibly a form of epilepsy. You say you are losing weight but you don't say how much you weigh. Please go to the doctor, these symptoms don't sound like anyone on Yahoo Answers can answer them.

This could be serious...or it could be just a case of low blood sugar. Either way, blacking out can be serious and worse, yet, you could hit your head and have more injuries. Since you're 15, describe your sympthoms to your parent(s). They'll know what to do.
