I have a friend named Brandon. My friend Ashley goes to the same school as Brandon. She told me that she overheard Brandon say that I'm "freakin hot". I asked him if that was true, so no rumors would start. He denied it to my face and said that he friends were "just talking guys stuff", but Ashley clearly heard him say that "Annie (I'm not going to say my last name here, but he said it so he was talking about me) is freakin hot."
That was a few weeks ago. He is going to an all boys highschool next year. He is always complaining to me that there will be no girls there. He also tells me about all his ex girlfriends and how he spends hours talking to girls on the phone. It's really getting on my nerves! I don't care about his girlfriends! Then he was like, "Did Ashley say anything else to you about me and stuff?" I was like no. Then he was like "Good."
He's supposed to be tutoring me in math, not talking about girls! He denied liking me, so what do you think is up???

It sounds like Brandon likes you, but doesn't want you to know that he actually likes you. I would say he may be trying to play hard to get.... play along with him and see what's up.

Maybe he's trying to make you like because so many past girls liked him. Tell him that he can tell you later, but he has t oteachyou math first. Or just ask him why he's telling you all this.
You could also tell him that Ashley also told you that the both of you should go out.

Just be yourself. Get to know him more. All he is doing is just denying a few things because he don't want you to know just yet what he thinks about you. Talk to him like your friends. When he is ready to tell you that he likes you or whatever he'll tell you.

You didn't specify your feelings for him, but it sounds like he is either shy, or she MAY HAVE misunderstood. Have you tried telling him your feelings for him?
