When I downloaded SDC Yahoo!, it asked me to name my computer. But now I want to change the name. -It appears on the Welcome Screen (on the bottom).

My Computer, on the side bar click on System Information, there is a tab called "Computer Name" and you can type in a name for your PC there.

Right click your My computer icon go to properties...next to general tab computer name is there in that go to change tab
through that you can able to change the computer name

to change your computer name:
you click on start then on the menu find (my computer)
then get your mouse on (my computer) and make a right click on it ,
a submenu will appear , go ahead and choose properties, and click on it.
a window will open and this window has a tab on it called (computer name).
there u can do the change
