I'll give you some coordinates..... it means values of x and y that satisfied that equation. The Values are called coordinates as plotted on a graph. Any equation can be graphed based on the coordinates. Now, to find a coordinate you simply substitute any number for either x or y. Say I want x=1, then what will be the value of y?
To solve this, substitue x=1 to the equation:
2(1)+y=9
2+y=9
y=7
This means that we got 1 coordinate, which is (1,7) ---> written in usual manner which is (x,y). I won't give you anymore coordinates bec others have it. You can try this, substitute a number for x and solve for y or the other way around. This coordinates help you plot the resulting graph of the equation.
