My bff and i have been inseperable for the last 7 months. now we have a new friend who my best friend would rather hang out with. my bff thinks she understands her better and that i can't understand what she and our friend are going through. they think they're going insane, but they really aren't. i tried to explain to her that i think she's trying to defriend me and she gets mad at me and is like "whatever!". i'm afraid to lose her as a friend and i know it will get back to normal eventually but i don't know what to do until then. i don't have any other close friends to talk to so yeah. any ideas for help??

Hi, sounds like you should just broaden your horizons and try to meet more people, keep the door open for her but dont keep telling her that she is defriending you as you will eventually come across as clingy, just wait and see what happens but dont chase her as their are many people around that can also do witha friend..... a friend like you and she will either realise this or not, but try to meet other people too, its a big world!

Talk to your best friend one more time and be open and honest about the situation. Mention to her that you feel that she's dissing you everytime that she is around the new friend. If she was the kind of best friend that will listen to you, she'll understand what you're saying and try to make the situation into a positive one. If all doesn't go well, you know who your true best friend is. Continue to meet new people and mingle. It will be hard, but would you rather be best friends with someone who will listen to you and acknowledge your existence or someone that ignores you and doesn't care at all? Think about it. In the meantime, focus on what's really important in life and stay focused. Do what you think is best. I hope my advice helps you. Good luck.

I'm sort of going through this too.
Maybe you all should try hanging out together. Or maybe you should find a new friend. But don't give up hope!
