Also, is there a difference between the 2005 and the 2007 guide. My sister is 2 years older than me and bought books for the 2005 tests. Its also the new SAT in 2005, so I was wondering if its worth buying the 2007 guide.

Take collegeboard's practice tests, but use Up Your Score for the test taking advice and tips. PR is pretty good. Kaplan sucks. It's not like the real tests because it'll have way too many questions in each section, like 28 instead of 25. They didn't help my score at all. And don't get the new guide.

No, not really. Those books are really expensive and not really worth it. The only thing that is going to help are doing the practice tests. You can look up online what is supposed to be on the tests and they're often tests there. Take the practice tests because that will help you more than anything. Which is why those classes with past tests are so helpful.. The test- taking tips are essentially the same, the only thing that has changed is really content.

But personally the princeton has been pretty good.

All 3 are bad. I got 2 perfect scores in math and reading, but my writing score was only 720, for a total of 2320. I only read this SAT guide, and that is how I got such high scores:

I recommend this guide to anyone seeking to get a higher score to get into a first choice college.
