she might have a stomach, panchreas or liver disease, tell her to go to a doctor, be honest with her, she might get mad or take your advise, you'll never know if you don't try!

tell her to see a dentist. it may be something more...
I had a friend that had bad breath from infected cavaties. and a dentist can see if it is from some type of mouth disease since they are a doctor of the mouth they are trained to see things we can't.
tell her honestly about it because if you notice it other people do too. save her some embarrassment with it coming from you insted of strangers or co-workers.

Ask your friend to drink at least 4 litres of water daily. In a week, her mouth or breath will not smell.

She may have a gum disease like piohrea. She should go to the dentist and get checked. As she could lose all her teeth if it is.Also you could suggest antibacterial mouth wash.

You should talk to the doctor about this. It sounds very unusual to me. Until then offer her breath mints. It may be something she's eating to. So see what she is eating. Maybe that's the problem.
