On March 21 or 22 the sun rises due east of Los Angeles, California. From March 22 to September 21 it rises to the northeast, reaching its maximum northeasterly rising point on June 21. On September 21 it rises due east again. From September 22 to March 21 it rises to the southeast, reaching its maximum southeasterly rising point on December 21.

well sin is all around us it doesn't rise. but the sun does. surely it would from the same direction as us all. from the east and then would go down to the west. used to watch it rise over the claddagh and set on Galway bay.

pretend you're on the sea coast. The solar rises in the east. that could nicely be in the route of the land. It instruments in the west, which may be in the route of the Pacific Ocean. i am hoping you discover your way....
