My hamsters have always lived a lifespan of about 2-4 years. Generally it's right in the middle so I'd say about 3 years...4 if you're lucky. Theyre great pets but they dont live very long which is sad.

A golden hamster really depends how much time it was it the pet store. In order to live a heathy life, it needs to have social interaction with people. A golden hamster can live up to 4 years or maybe 5 if it is extreamly healthy. It would normally live for about 2 and a half years to 3 and a half years. Hopefully if you take care of the hamster well with a nice cage, fresh food and water with extra treats like carrots, bannana, stawberry and plain, dry oatmeal, the little hammie should live about 4 years.

The lifespan depends on how healthy it is. If it's not so healthy it can live from 2-3 years. If it's health is average but not the best it can live from 3-5 years. If the hamster is very healthy with no health concerns, then it'll probably live to be 6-8 years old. Keep it healthy!
