Ive been looking for a great scary movie that is actually based on real events wich one do u all recomend ? ohh and ive seen tx chainsaw m so not that one ok thks.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose was horrifying and very smart too. Laura Linney was great in it as she always is. An American Haunting with Donald Sutherland was great too. Both based on true events. An oldie but a goodie I'd recommend is The Entity with Barbara Hershey.

Wolf Creek was based on true events, and it's scary as sin.
An American Haunting is based on the true tale of the Bell Witch, and it's a marvelous movie, and scary as well.

The Amityville Horror is based on a book that is supposedly based on true events. I liked the original better than the remake, but that's true for most movies in my opinion.

tx chainsaw isnt based on a true story either thats just part of the movie,
look for the "town that dreaded sundown" based on true events of a killer in texarcana
