ive heard a lot of so called "christians" say that having a relationship with a non-christian is prohibited because that is what the bible says(as they said it). what if you really love a guy who is straight and truly generous and humble? why suffer oneself from keeping your love for him? wouldnt it be ok if youll have a relationship with him since itll be your consequence if he'll turn out to be a bad man?

It's true that some Christians will not marry a non-Christian. Just as some Jews will not marry non-Jews, some Muslims will not marry non-Muslims, etc. I personally believe, and this is what my pastor and a couple priests I have known have said -- If your faith is strong and you will not let a person you love change your belief, then where's the problem? The only thing you should think about is how would the child/children be raised? I think that may be a lot of the reason, and maybe why it's mentioned in the bible. Because it has been a point of serious marital problems in more than one mixed-religion marriage before, and has led to divorce and a lot of pain... You might want to consider things like that, before you make your decision. Good luck and I hope your decision turns out well.

well really I think what the bible is saying
To Complete you seek out one like your self
BUT a lot of non christians have christian spouces in church every sunday while they sit at home... HAPPILY MARRIED
Faith is a SELF SEEKING FOR YOUR BENIFIT
SOME WILL NOT DATE ONE THAT IS NOT CHRISTIAN ,,, Like my son 18 years old will not date a girl that is not of his faith or religion..... but there are a lot of couples who do not share the same ideas and have beautiful marriages
thte trouble come along later when the children arrive
ONE wants the child raised in christ one does not
that should all be discussed before the child comes, and not just discussed but decided in advance... I dont know if this helps .... BUT CHRISTIANS SHOULD NOT JUDGE
it is against our believe to judge......But then again there area lot of people who think they are SO CALLED christians... all over the world that will be going to hell.

i don't know where it says that in the bible, but the bible also says don't judge or you will be judged and it also says i didn't come for the just but the unjust so they to may believe.it don't say anything about a christian marring a christian or a hebrew marring an isrealite it says believe that i am the son of god was raised on the 3rd day and if you believe you shall be saved, read you bible and the 10 comments and ask god for understanding and it will be reviled to you don't reliy on your own understanding or someone else because they can mislead you so follow your own inner spirt god will not ever lead you wrong so pray for your answer and i will pray for you to and what ever you chose if the church or any one ture you away or say anything remember the have to answer to god.

you know what, if he's a great guy, then it's ok. it doesn't matter if you have different religions. you shouldn't discriminate!

don't rely on the Bible too much. it's still a book - one that's been (literally) written by humans so it has its own flaws and contradictions.

as a Christian, you have to interpret what's written in the Bible, not memorize and follow it word for word.

Being a non-Christain, does not make a person bad! There are a lot of Christians out there that are worse then non- Christains! Anyone can be bad, religious or not!

i don't recall it being in the bible saying that you must marry a partner with the same religion. But i may be wrong.

if anything, one of you guys can always agree to convert after or before marriage.
