Sounds like someone may have disabled the properties? (Yes, you can disable (hide) the properties tab so it can't be seen.) You can also prevent the history from being updated.

Have a scan through the registry... you will find them there. ;)
Although, if you're not the administrator, they may have locked that down too.

I don't think it's possible- you need to go to the properties panel to delete the history. To do this- click on tools, then internet options.

I don't waste time by deleting my history anyway- "big brother" will know where I was regardless.

Go to
C:\Documents and Settings\ Name of user loged on \Local Settings if you don't see Local settings folder it may be hidden click tools folder options and in the view tab select show hidden files and folders click apply than ok,
From here you'll see history and Temporary Internet Files go in one select all files Ctrl+A than delete good luck :)

is your favorites bar working? if so:

go to your favorites bar, select "history" and delete your visited sites 1 by 1..........that should do it.......

or if ur you're using IE(internet explorer) 7 or higher, you should be able to select "tools" and "delete browsing history"

if you can't get to the properties, probably your registry has been changed by administrator or for some reason, some one is blocking you.

but with this freeware, you can clear anything.
