I suggest following the very basic PPP (Presentation - Practice - Production) model with something that beginner students would need to know. You could do a grammar lesson or a vocab lesson- your choice.

In the presentation stage, show the target language as it's used in the real world. If you could bring in realia showing the target language it would be even better.

In the practice stage, create two worksheets that let the students use the target language. The first should be very controlled, like fill-in-the-blanks or matching. The second should be more open, allowing the students to create sentences using the target language.

In the production stage, create a real-world scenario where the students could use the language.

I would suggest doing a lesson focusing on listening-speaking rather than reading-writing, as it's more dynamic and interesting for the interviewer. You might want to check in advance how much time you'll have and if it's a short lesson consider just giving your worksheets to the interview but not having them actually do them.
