If it is an internal injury and u observe a bruise, lump or the animal shows sensitivity on contact os that area, then u shud consult a professional vet.
As 4 general injuries, the human 1st Aid kit can b used on animals too. It's my personal experience from birds to dogs. On burns, or cuts, use any 1st aid mediction. If it is deep, consult a professional.

Human or animal - in any emergency, life means breathing, the heart beating and any bleeding stopped. Those are the basics of First Aid.

Not sure about the question, has the animal caused the injury or is it injured?
Anyway basic first aid for anyone is; stem the bleeding, protect the airway, treat for shock. Send for help if injury sufficiently serious.

First of all you would need to tell us the injury and the animal. A dog with a cut paw would need different treatment to a mouse who's had a stroke

You don't say what given injury in what given animal!
Basic first aid principles would be ABC - i.e. airway, breathing and circulation. I imagine the same applies to any animal.
