I'm not totaly surprised their working on it.. but no one can replace Kurt Russel. He should get "Snake Pliskin: the Clealand Chronicles" done then do the remake. but without him.. NO WAY

who thehell would want anyone but him in it? Gerard Butler is the remake.

I thought snake was dead. If he was dead, you need someone to replace him. Yes, I agree Kurt Russell was King Turf in the original movie.

Argh! I agree with ya! I'd rather see something new about Kurt's Snake Pliskin than an un-needed remake of this classic! Hell, even an 'Escape From Sequels' would be better than a remake! What is John Carpenter thinking? He's a classic director. He's gonna lose that marker if he keeps letting people re-do what he's done BEST. I think he's just too lazy to make his own original movies again and needs the money so is allowing these senseless remakes. His old partner Debra Hill must be turning in her grave right about now!

i remember when that movie came out . it was one hell of a movie in it's day .
