Interesting that the majority of answers are from Christians cruising the LGBT section again; now that must prove something ...

OK -I'm off to have dinner (with a very nice, respectable, straight Christian lady who has no problems accepting gay people for what we are ... people)

It's a remnant of the victorian general anti-sex attitude, (remember when ladies legs had to be covered, to be decent?) coupled with some guilt over gay priests etc. This stance is also like the God Fearing stance taken by many older Christians, rather than the more peace loving, tolerant approach that Jesus is reported to have taken with others.
It's also bible bashing in a giant form, assuming everyone should be converted - as well as lead a sin free life.

They don't, it is the Media who keep going on about it as they think it will shock. Do you think they will ever grow up.
In most Christian thinking sex other than that which our bodies use for reproduction does not seem natural.
A person with this life style will be accepted into most Churches, but they would not be accepted as a leader.
To marry and set up a home and relationship is a great burden on a person, it is better for many not to take up this burden.
If you are really going into this in an adult way, how about all the other forms of sex and relationships.

Because they just cant get their tiny brains arond the fact that two people of the same sex could actually love one another. YES they might have the same sex organs but at the end of the day the sexual act can be very different for any human being. For humans the sexual act only reinforces the bond between two humans thus creating a feeling of ONE. I believe this feeling in todays world can be shared between any human being male or female.

Because the have been brainwashed their whole life so they don't know how to think for themselves ...and if they ever had an original thought it would be too much for them to bear ...and they would end up in an institution ...singing show tunes...until finally their heads would explode and infect everyone around them with bigotry :)

It consumes them because we are having all the fun! They can't help it, we are just that fabulous, besides, half of them are taking "repressitol" so they have to live vicariously through us. Oh, and I am cute, even cuter than my avatar, so think about that when picking a best answer. LOL.

seriously, some Chhristians think about because they are gay themselves, so it is natural. Others because they believe the Bible advocates/tolerates/condemns homosexuality (depending on who you speak to), and they believe it is an issue that concerns them & their opinion is needed to enlighten the rest of us!

I can't say that i've ever put much thought into it and i'm a christian other than it's an abomination against God but, i believe if your gay and you change your ways and ask God for forgivness He will in fact forgive you.
