Tricky this one. That particular gravy train may have well and truly left the station by now.
Either way you have a headache as both property abroad and any possible tennants you may have will need to be managed.
I hope you have lots of free time on your hands if you want to move into this type of business venture!

Firstly you need to look at what you want out of the property. Income or growth? I know you said Buy to Let, but if you look at the return over, say, 5 years you could be better off looking overseas.
You will get far more bang for your buck/pound elsewhere.
The advantage of the UK is finance, mortgages are easier and cheaper here than most other places.
Personally, I would be looking at somewhere like Istanbul - a city the size of London with mortgages soon to be available for the first time.
The links below are informative.
Best of luck

I loved your question. i'm no longer a professional in this ingredient yet i be attentive to some people who did investments and listed right here are some strategies which you would be able to build upon and boost with help of others: a million. in case you do no longer strategies having lengthy term inverstment, placed money into sources (purchase to enable), even although you will ought to pay in the direction of expenses of pastime etc to boot to the hire you will get. 2. placed money into paying for inventory, yet this is generally volatile 3. set up your man or woman business enterprise, initiate with something small and usual at the same time with hand crafts, or something which could have a severe yield yet low fee. i'm hoping this helps, and sturdy success :)

You could. But a word of warning, properties are really expensive in the UK.
But prices are increasing every month at the moment so it's worth the risk but if the Bank of England increase interest rates, that bubble could burst.
