There are several companies that offer transfer service from Mannhiem to Frankfurt Airport in the yellow pages. They just pick up several travelers and get to the airport in time for the earliest flight.
You could also take the OEG trolly from the stop outside the barracks, or taxi to the Mannheim train station. There is a train Mon-Fri that departs at 20:30 and arrives at 22:06. That gives you time to check in 2 hours early as required. Euro 19 for the ticket online or Euro 22 at the trainstation. Get the ticket a few days early and save a few Euro's and the hassle of having to get to the trainstation early to get the ticket.

I was stationed on Sullivan from 1982-1989 with 5-77 Armor. Had the barracks closest to the old front gate/pizza place.

Have a good trip.

Go to Mannheim Hauptbahnhof (central train station) by local public transport and then take a train to Frankfurt airport directly

For example there's an ICE train leaving Mannheim Hbf at 09:35 arriving at the airpot at 10:06 - it's 21,- EUR but you don't have to change trains. - If you don't get a return ticket it's not cheaper to buy tickets in advance (which would also restrict you to a certain connection). So just hop off at Mannheim Hauptbahnhof and get a ticket there - you can also use a ticket machine if you have 21,- EUR in cash or you possess a credit card.

You could take the train from Manneheim Bahnhoff to Frankfort Bahnhoff then take a taxi to the airport. Also, check with the USO on Sullivan Barracks they might have an alternative way of transportation (bus). Better yet, if you are military then have someone from your unit take you to the airport.
