I received a phone call the other evening from BT asking would I like a free upgrade. Im not in contract and am on Option 1. Without thinking I said no,and wondered after, what they may have offered. Do you think I may have missed something or nothing. Anybody else enlighten me as to what was on offer. Somebody out there in cyber land must have had a similar call .
Thanx

I phoned and complained to bt that their charges were too high for existing customers for broadband. Since then i received a letter of apology, £15 rebate and £6 a month off my internet/broadband charges.

The thing is that technology improves, but i was on an old contract paying over the odds which had not been renewed- while i coughed the money up each month they took it - no questions asked. They never bothered to tell me about better offers- so i told them- now all of a sudden they are telling everyone else.

Blame me if you like!! I'd phone them and see if they can give you a cheaper deal on your phoneline or broadband. One word of advice though- don't buy what you don't need just because it sounds good.

It was more likely to be a scam.
